Terms of Service

By accessing or using BotList ("the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to use BotList, in accordance with Discord's own minimum age requirement. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

BotList uses Discord OAuth2 for authentication. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account. We do not store your Discord password.

We may suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

By submitting a bot or server listing, you confirm that:

• You own or have permission to list the bot or server.
• The listing does not violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
• The listing does not promote illegal activity, hate speech, harassment, or explicit content.
• All provided information is accurate and not misleading.

We reserve the right to reject, remove, or modify any listing at our discretion.

Vote manipulation — including the use of bots, scripts, or coordinated abuse — is strictly prohibited and will result in account bans and removal of affected listings.

Reviews must be honest and based on genuine personal experience. Fake reviews, spam, or reviews containing harmful content will be removed.

Certain features are available through paid Premium subscriptions processed by Stripe. All payments are final unless required otherwise by applicable law. Premium benefits apply for the duration of the purchased period and do not auto-renew unless explicitly stated.

Access to the BotList API is governed by these terms and any additional rate limits communicated in the API documentation. You may not:

• Use the API to build a competing service.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or authentication.
• Harvest or cache data beyond what is necessary for your integration.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to distribute malware or phishing content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
• Scrape the Service without written permission.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law.

All content, branding, and code comprising BotList is the property of BotList and its contributors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without explicit written permission.

Bot and server owners retain ownership of their own content submitted to the platform.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BotList shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the jurisdiction in which BotList operates.
